Happy Birthday, Granny Pat!

Today was my Grandmother’s 72nd birthday.  My kids believe that she’s 7 years old because she only had seven candles on her cake.  Here’s a picture of them helping her blow out candles.

They are rather enthusiastic candle blowers, and Bennett even ended up spitting all over the cake trying to get the candles out.  Yuck!!

We also had milk and cookies with Santa today at Bennett’s school.  Bennett talked to Santa for the longest time.  His list was filled with things that either related to Mario or that glowed in the dark.  Funny boy and a funny age.

I also thought that it was really cute that I got to see his class do their nativity play-acting today.  Bennett got his turn to be Joseph (probably because I was there ) and he was awfully cute.

All in all, it was a pretty good day!!
