Q-tip and Toliet Paper painting

I’m playing today.  Starting to make a mini-album with q-tip dot swirls.

I think it’s the start of a fall album.  I’m also painting with toilet paper rolls this morning.  It’s been a while since I did that.  This picture is just at the begining, so I’ll post an update later

I have no clue what this is even going to be yet!!!

20 Weeks

Twenty weeks pregnant this week, and I know now that I’m having a boy.  Bennett thinks that’s great, but Emalee has decided that if we’re having a boy, that she doesn’t want a baby.  Oh well.  There’s still four and a half months to change her mind  

I’m awake much earlier than I want to be on a Sunday, and I’m blaming it all on the baby making it uncomfortable for me to sleep.  It’s only going to get much bigger and interrupt my sleep more as time goes by, so I’m a little frustrated to already be sleeping so poorly.  I think I only got up 5 times to pee last night   The baby’s 13 oz big according to the ultrasound, but he must be hanging out rather low for me to be sleep disturbed and to always have that got to pee feeling.

The best news about the baby is that I’m starting to really feel him move.  Not even every day yet, but when I feel him it’s magical!!!  It seems like no matter what I’m doing, everthing in my body becomes focused on the miracle inside when I feel those little bumps in the lower part of my belly.

The kids are at my Mom’s house this morning.  It’s been nice to have them away at night the past few months on Saturday.  Sometimes I miss them, but I need the time alone with Kevin some too.  It’s like we get so caught up in the kids that we don’t always get to be together during the week, so I often look  forward to Saturday nights.
